Professional Bio

Richard Nuckolls has over 20 years of IT experience, including engineering and development. He’s managed systems both on-premises and in the cloud. He’s led teams delivering applications and systems in the public and private sectors. Richard brings this experience and overarching vision of software development to his technology projects.

Before joining Skapa, Richard led development teams at Silverchair. He designed and enhanced websites running content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS). He created a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) reporting system in Azure for industry standard COUNTER reports supporting multiple clients. Past projects also include library routing software and PCI-compliant credit card processing systems.

Richard Nuckolls graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Art History. He is the author of Azure Storage, Streaming, and Batch Analytics.
